Dear Mr Jack,
I am writing to you to express my resentment over the problem of the incessant sound of machines. Besides, loud music played by the workers at night time is intolerable.
Let me explain how construction work has made it impossible for me to sleep well at night. The continuous sound of hammers and machines do not let me frequently get up during my sleep. This thing woke me up for a couple of days, and apart from it, after requesting so many times to your workers to turn down the volume has depressed me a lot.
Eventually, they did not pay any heed to my request. I would expect you to look into the matter and warn your personnel to stop playing loud music at night. It would be ideal to do the rest of the building work at the weekends as I am going to attend a conference in Delhi for a few weeks. So during that time they can complete their work and play music moderately so that it cannot cause any problem to others as well.
I will be left with no alternative but to take legal action unless the problem is solved within the next fifteen days. I would appreciate your immediate attention to this matter.
