You are Working For a Company

You are working for a company. You need to take time off from work and you want to ask your supervisor about it. Write a letter to your manager. In your letter.

Dear Sir or Madam,
I have been working in your golden enterprise as a marketing executive since 2008.I am writing to you to take your permission for a break for a specific period of time.

I am keen on visiting Shimla, which has been my birthplace. The purpose of my visit is not only to rejuvenate myself from the hectic work schedule but also to meet my grandfather and celebrating his Platinum jubilee.

To be honest, being conscious about my job responsibilities, it would be unjustice to take longer holidays. Instead, I need only one week vacation. I will be leaving for Shimla on 20th June after midday and will be available to rejoin the exit after one week.

Suffice to say that, due to lockdown it has been informed to all workers to do work via telecommuting. The company will resume its services with 50% employees. So, I would be able to work from home for a week and in this way, the company will not suffer from human resources. Besides, if any problem persists, Mr Raman who is my counterpart, are able to handle my work and I have pre-informed him about it.

I hope you would permit me for one week break to revitalize my energy and remove monotony in life.

I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Yours Faithfully,
