You Have Arranged a Weekend Holiday with A Group of Friends, but Due to Your Studies, You Will Now Be Unable to Go with Them. Write to Your Friends And
- Tell Them Why You Are Unable to Go
- Say Sorry for This.
- Suggest an Alternative Activity at Another Time.
Dear Friends,
I hope you are all doing well. I am writing to let you know that, unfortunately, I will not be able to join you on our planned weekend holiday. I have recently been informed that I have an important exam scheduled for the same weekend, which I cannot afford to miss due to its significance in my academic progress.
I want to sincerely apologize for this sudden change in plans and for any inconvenience my absence may cause. I was really looking forward to spending this time with all of you and creating some wonderful memories together. It is with a heavy heart that I make this decision, but my studies must take priority at this crucial time.
To make up for this, I would like to suggest an alternative plan that we can all enjoy together. How about we arrange a day trip to the nearby lake the following weekend? We could have a picnic, go for a swim, and even rent some boats to enjoy a day out on the water. This way, we can still spend quality time together and have fun, albeit on a different date.
Once again, I apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope you can understand my situation. I truly value our friendship and am eager to find another opportunity for us to gather and have a great time. Please let me know what you think of the alternative plan, and I will do my best to make it a memorable experience for all of us.
Warm regards,
