Sample Answer: You Travelled by Plane Last Week, and Your Suitcase Was Lost.

Dear British Airways,

I am writing concerning my lost suitcase. I boarded your plane A1037 at Heathrow Airport to Accra, Ghana, on 6th September 6th September, 2023. I had three suitcases, one large suitcase, one medium size and a small suitcase which was my hand baggage. The plane landed at Kotoka International Airport on 7th September 7th September at exactly 7 am. The large suitcase arrived in the luggage carousel. However, I couldn’t find the second suitcase, which is the medium size. I waited for 45 minutes, and then there was no suitcase in the luggage carousel.

My luggage is green in colour, weighing 23kg. It has a handle and a spinner wheel asides at the vertical side of the suitcase. There is also a carry strap on the horizontal side of the bag. The bag contains dresses, shoes, a hairdryer, makeup kits, a laptop charger, an umbrella and an iron. I reported to the baggage office at the airport and documented and collected the necessary paperwork. Also telephoned your branch in Accra-Ghana and reported. It’s been exactly two weeks, and your company hasn’t given me any feedback.

Therefore writing to find out what will be done about my issue. This is my contact number in case it’s been found: +2332467909012. Hoping to hear from your company soon.

Yours Faithfully,
