sample answer 1 for: Your neighbors have recently written to you to complain about
Hope you are doing great. As I am utterly shocked to receive your complaint regarding disturbance caused by me, allow me to explain the circumstances.
It was last Wednesday when I came back from work, glass window of my kitchen was shattered and the chimney was dislocated. Due to its constant requirement, I have been trying to fix it. I never expected that hammering nails and banging steel would cause you inconvenience.
I am extremely guilty of the whole. Besides apologizing to you, I have asked an expert to visit for repairs. He has confirmed that the whole procedure will require 5 – 6 hours. Moreover, he will come on a working day when most of the neighbors are at work.
Therefore, I request you humbly to accept my apologies with a box of chocolates, that I have sent along. Hopefully, this unfortunate incident won’t hamper our friendly relations. Let meet for a cup of coffee soon.
Thanking you.

Dear John,
Last week, there was my birthday party at my flat.I supposed that party will over by 10:00 pm. However, we all were enthralled by the music played by a friend that I hardly noticed the time. Furthermore, we were dancing on the loud music which I believe has disturbed your sleep as well.
I am extremely sorry for the trouble which you and your family faced last week. I couldn’t have words to express how embarrassed I am.
In the future, if there is an event scheduled at my flat I will make sure that it will be finished by 9:00 pm. Additionally, I will keep several reminders on my phone that will update me continuously regarding time.
Moreover, I will put restrictions on the volume of the speakers which prohibits the sound to cross the walls of my flat. I hope you will accept my apology with the assurance of not happening this again.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Warm regards,
Susan
