Sample Answer: Your Son Has Been Experiencing Some Difficulties at His Elementary School
Dear Miss Martha,
I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my concern regarding a few difficulties that my son is facing at school.
My name is Suneeta Paul, and my son, David Paul, is studying in 6th grade at your school, Algo Public School, Ottawa. I have noticed a significant change in his behavior; he appears to be unhappy and significantly withdrawn during our conversations about school.
After discussing with David, it appears that he is struggling with some subjects such as mathematics and science. He often feels frustrated while completing his assignments. Also, he is having difficulty making friends and feels isolated during recess. These issues are impacting David’s overall enthusiasm for school and learning.
I believe that small group discussions and extra tutoring would help build my son’s confidence. Furthermore, fostering a more inclusive environment during breaks, such as buddy systems and group play activities, can significantly improve his interactions with his fellow students.
Could we schedule an appointment to discuss this further? I would be available next Monday morning or I am flexible and can accommodate my schedule to yours.
Thank you for your attention and support. I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Warm Regards,
Suneeta Paul
