In our day-to-day life, we see film stars, sportsmen and politicians in the news. Sometimes, we are so impressed by them that we want to meet them personally. Here, I would like to talk about a person whom I would like to meet personally and get his autograph. He is not a superstar but a superhuman being – Sonu Sood, a humanitarian and philanthropist. He has worked as a villain in many films, but in real life, he is a hero who is a saviour to so many people. Recently, he was in the news during Covid when he decided to help migrants return to their homes by arranging medical equipment like oxygen cylinders, etc.; unless other superstars, Sonu refrains from show-off. That is one of the qualities I like about him. He is definitely an inspiration to the youth for his kind act, and I would like to thank him for the commendable work he is doing for the people.

I love to watch and play football, so I like Lionel Messi a lot; he is a world-class player, and even everyone calls him the GOAT of football. In 2014, I first watched the football game live on my mobile phone, it was the world cup of football, and then I became a fan of his. He always remains in the news not only for games but also for his kindness to children. He loves to help needy people as well as respect everyone. I want to meet him because he is my ideal, and as a fan, I love to see him in the game and want to see him at least once in my life.

Answer 1:- According to me, new media uses mass communication using digital technologies like the internet, while old media uses mass communication that does not involve the internet, i.e. television or radio.

Answer 2:- The importance of news is a big difference between both. Now, the media wants to gain TRP by just showing the news of people’s interest instead of showing other important news. Old media always tried to show the important daily news and also gave accurate facts to the news.

Answer 1:- I do not find newspapers reliable nowadays as there may be some altering to the real stories, making them look attractive or pleasing to the readers.

Answer 2:- We cannot blindly trust anything in life, not even the news written in the newspapers. We should always study everything ourselves before reaching any decision. For example, If there is news about any crime on paper, we cannot simply believe it; we have to wait for the police’s perspective.

Question 3:- Do you think people must watch foreign news?

Answer 1:- Foreign news is very interesting as it can help me expand my horizons, and global news is always a big concern to the readers.

Answer 2:- Yes, I believe we should see the overseas news because it will keep us up to date with world situations and teach many things in life. We can learn about the culture of other countries by viewing the news related to their culture.

Question 4:- How has social media changed how we consume news?

Answer 1:- Social media has been promoting all the breaking news in such a way that it makes the reader or viewers inquisitiveness to know more about news, and users spend time browsing the news on the internet for further information. It is quite a smart technique to grab the public’s attention.

Answer 2:- social media has a big impact on the news in daily life. Sometimes it is in our favour, and other times not because we cannot simply believe in everything available on social media.

Question 5:- What kinds of (famous) people are usually in the news in your country?

Answer 1:- Sports personalities, Filmstars and Politicians are majorly found in controversies or news in India.

Answer 2:- In my country, mostly politicians, sportspersons, and film stars remain in the news. The media always shows them the news related to them, and people also want to know everything about them.
