The chart illustrates the main reason acid occurs in the mouth with the consumption of sugar and honey products which causes tooth decay problems. The acid level is measured by low pH values.
Overall, it is immediately apparent from the chart that all products have a low acid level, and tooth decay is unlikely. Still, after five-minute, sugar has a significant risk of producing acid levels which cause tooth problems.
In detail, consuming cane sugar has a low acid level beginning at seven pH level while eating moment and surprisingly this acid level gradually decreases after five minutes and reaches at nearby two pH level. in the stage the chances of tooth decay are higher.
Still, later this level continuously plummeted according to the time division. After 20 minutes, the level reached above five pH, and 10 minutes later, it crossed the borderline, which accounted for six pH levels which cavities unlikely to occur.
Following this, fruit sugar also starts with the same value at 7PH the moment eaten, but after five minutes, the pH level drops to 4.5, which produces acid, which causes dental caries.

Moreover, with the increase of time, the acidic pH level of cane sugar decreases. However, it reaches between 5 and 6 pH, where tooth decay occurs 30 minutes after eating it. At 40 minutes, it climbs to 7 pH, the normal basic level in the mouth.
🍯 Looking at the graph more thoroughly, fruit sugar and honey produce an acidic level between 4 and 5 within 5 minutes. In contrast, honey and fruit sugar reach a 5.5 pH level, at which tooth decay occurs within 13 minutes and 20 minutes, respectively. It is noticeable that tooth decay occurs earlier with fruit sugar and honey than with cane sugar.
