Question 1 How often do you talk to your friends?

Answer – Well… I keep in touch with my friends on a regular basis, at least once or twice a week. I feel good and relaxed when I talk to them.

Question 2 What do you think makes people have a long friendship?

Answer – I think communication and understanding matters a lot. If two persons seek a long-term friendship, they both must understand each other and have regular meetings or calls to strengthen their bond.

Question 3 Does it make things easier in a friendship if you have similar interests?

Answer – I guess… most certainly yes, if people share similar thoughts and likes, there will be no room for fights between them. As a result, it is easy for them to take their friendship forward.

Question 4 How do people make friends now?

Answer – Well.. in this digital world, there are many ways to make friends. With the tremendous increase in the usage of the internet with technology, people have many options, such as social networking websites like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. And other dating sites like Tinder and Pen Pal.

Question 5 Is friendship (= are friends) important to you? (Why?/Why not?)

Answer – Of course, because I feel extremely relaxed after chit-chatting with them or after having a party with them. In fact, acquaintances are one aspect of my necessities as they are just like my stress busters.

Question 6 Do you prefer to spend time with friends or spend time alone? (Why?)

Answer – Well.. most of the time, I choose to be with my friends in my leisure time; however, if my mood is not well for some reason, and I like to make my own space, I try to be alone.

Question 7 What do you and your friends do together?

Answer – Oh, this is an interesting question. We do a plethora of things when we meet, like playing cards, gossiping about others, window shopping, movie theatres, and sometimes a visit to a nice restaurant.

Question 8 Are friends more important than family? (Why?)

Answer – Umm. I think both good friends and family are equally important. Because, when you are away from family for overseas studies, your friend will be ready to take care of u all the time, and hence friends are as important as family.

Question 9 How do Indian people make friends? (= where, in what situations, e.g. at school & work.)

Answer – People in India like to choose their friends in a traditional way, which means they want to be friends with whom they meet personally, like classmates in school or college and colleagues at workplaces. I mean, very less few people rely on the modern way of making friends online without seeing them, just through chats or messages.

Question 10 Do adults and children make friends in the same way?

I don’t think so. Because adults can choose their friends depending on their likes, interests, behaviour, attitude, and if they like each other, they will become good friends. Children are not aware of these things, they can make friends with anyone, even with a stranger, if something about the stranger attracts them.
