Question 1:- Do you mind noises?
Answer 1:- Actually, when I am doing some work that needs concentration, noise disturbs us. Our mind diverts immediately, but we don’t mind noise. While doing other work.
Answer 2:- Well, I do mind. Because noises distract me from doing any work as I live in a city and my house is on the road, continuous sounds of horns divert my attention to study. Even sometimes, I don’t listen to the ring of my phone, which really affects me.
Question 2:- What types of noise do you come across in your daily life?
Answer 1:- In daily life, we come across various noises like the horns of vehicles. Even as a lady I have to spend a lot of time in kitchen noise made by using utensils and cooker whistles these types of noise are usual.
Answer 2:- I come across daily the noises of vehicles and heavy machinery that usually are used to construct buildings. Moreover, when hawkers sell their products, I listen to these kinds of noises.
Question 3:- Are there any sounds that you like?
Answer 1:- I love to listen to birds chirping. It really has a soothing effect on us, and besides this, I also like to listen to pleasant music.
Answer 2:- Yes, I like the chirping sounds of the birds as well as the roaring sound of the lion. I love it more because it motivates me to be like a lion in the face of difficulties.
Question 4:- Where can you hear loud noises?
Answer 1:- Loud noises can be heard in big cities especially, and the loud horns of vehicles create these noises, and industries also produce a lot of noise.
Answer 2:- I can hear loud noises at the railway station, on the road and sometimes at the airport. Whenever I go there to pick up my loved ones.
Question 5:- Do you think there’s too much noise in modem society?
Answer 1:- I think it is quite right to some extent. Compared to the past, there was no such number of vehicles, but these days I think even one family has two or three vehicles, so the number of vehicles is the main reason for creating noise.
Answer 2:- Yes, there is much noise in modern society as people are fond of travelling, so they use their vehicles more and blow horns to irritate others as well as in road rage, this kind of ambience is found.
Question 6:- Are cities becoming noisier?
Answer 1:- Yes, definitely; as I told you earlier, there are more vehicles on the road as compared to the past. In big cities, other means of transportation like trains or metro trains make noises. Industrialization is another big reason to make noise in big cities.
Answer 2:- Yes, these are becoming noisier due to the number of vehicles and different kinds of sounds of horns, as well as construction work.
Question 7:- When do you send gifts?
Answer 1:- I send gifts on special occasions. I especially prefer birthdays are very common to give gifts to each other, so I think this is the typical event when we give gifts to each other.
Answer 2:- Well, I send gifts when there is a birthday as well as an anniversary and many times I send gifts to make that a person reminds me about our friendship.
Question 8:- When was the last time you received a gift?
Answer 1:- I received a gift on my last birthday. It was a book that one of my friends gifted to me.
Answer 2:- Well it was my birthday when I received the gift, and it was given to me by one of my friends, who has been living abroad and she sent me a laptop.
Question 9:- Have you received a gift you didn’t like?
Answer 1:- I always appreciate it when someone gives us a present, and I think I never dislike any gift I receive.
Answer 2:- Sometimes my relatives give me a gift I don’t like. It was the time when I was in my 10th standard. At that time, my maternal aunt bought a traditional suit which was bright in colour, and it didn’t suit me well, so the impression of that gift was still on my mind.
Question 10:- How do you feel when you receive a gift?
Answer 1:- Whenever I receive gifts, I feel happy as we like to achieve something, and I think when we receive gifts, it’s a moment of pleasure.
Answer 2:- Well, I feel very happy whenever I receive a gift because gifts give us happiness as we don’t expect every time, but the gift either is not very expensive brings a smile to our face, and we love to receive it, and it makes us feel special.
Question 11:- Do people in your country send gifts to show their generosity?
Answer 1:- Definitely, gifts are considered a true expression of love, and people love to express their emotions and their feelings in the form of giving gifts to each other, so I think it’s the best way to show generosity to someone.
Answer 2:- Yes, people do. They do because it’s customary in our culture as gifts develop good bonding and express the true emotions of a sender. So people show their kindness by sending gifts to their loved ones.
