It Is Better for People to Be Unemployed than Be Employed with A Job

It is better for people to be unemployed than be employed with a job they do not enjoy. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

It is argued that being jobless is better than doing a job that makes people unhappy, where individuals only work to earn their bread and butter. I completely agree with this statement because individuals will not work hard for a company’s progress, and a company will waste its resources training them.

To begin with, unenthusiastic individuals will not contribute to a company’s growth. To elaborate, when people are unhappy with their jobs, they tend to procrastinate and only complete the bare minimum required. They avoid additional efforts and hesitate to take on extra responsibilities, seeing work as a burden. For instance, some employees work overtime to increase a company’s sales because they are satisfied with their jobs. In contrast, those who only work for wages do not go the extra mile and are indifferent to a company’s success or failure.

Moreover, corporations waste a lot of resources, such as time and money, training uninterested personnel. When individuals join an organization, they are required to attend workshops and seminars to enhance their productivity for the company’s progress. A significant amount of money is spent on trainees, such as on food, transportation, and providing communication devices. Therefore, if employees do not produce results, the entire effort goes to waste, potentially leading to a company’s bankruptcy. Thus, a company’s success lies in the hands of its workers, who can either make it prosper or fail.

In conclusion, it is evident that working in a job that people have no interest or satisfaction in is more detrimental to a corporation. As manufacturers can face financial losses and workers do not make an effort for a company’s prosperity, this attitude can ruin any firm.

In this fast-paced world, people often discuss job satisfaction. Some individuals believe it is better not to work if they are unhappy with their jobs based on their own experiences. I disagree with this notion to a great extent, and in the following paragraphs, I will support my stance.

Considering the agreement side, the primary reason for not working in an uncomfortable job is that it can increase mental stress. When someone works in an organization and is not satisfied, their job may take a psychological toll on their health.

On the other hand, many believe that staying at home is not a solution. This means that if a person does not work at a certain age, it will lead to financial issues. After reaching a certain age, an individual must take on family responsibilities, and if they cannot earn a living, they will struggle to survive in this inflationary time. Moreover, no one is eager to marry someone who cannot earn a living. For instance, my friend Sachin, who is 28, stays at home without a job. Most people are getting married at this age, but he remains single, as no one is willing to marry him.

To conclude, despite facing problems such as an uncomfortable work environment, we should work to survive and live our lives in this fast-paced world. We can also focus on our passions to manage our stress.
