Many Students Decide to Further Their Studies Abroad. Writing Task 2

Many students decide to further their studies abroad. What are the benefits and drawbacks of studying abroad? What is your view on this? What do you prefer? Give reasons for your answer.

These days, learners opt for their career as per their choice, and they find foreign countries best to pursue their studies than in the homeland. There are both merits and demerits of this notion; however, I found this is a positive outcome due to globalization.

The first and foremost benefit of studying abroad is the improvement in the language skills of learners. It leads to an increase in the horizon of knowledge as well as the social circle of the person gets doubled by communicating with many foreign students. For instance, pupils who learn French can understand the thoughts and feelings of others than those who only know their mother tongue. Additionally, juveniles learn about new cultures and perspectives, which help them to enhance their network and explore many places and can even make a choice of their future job.

Nevertheless, despite advantages, students face homesickness when they stay far away for a long time. This leads to affect the academic studies as well as the physical health of well beings. Apart from this, the financial burden lies on the parents of dependent learners. A huge amount of money is required to let the kids study in abroad universities. For instance, in many foreign universities, annual fees are to be deposited in advance, which is out of the reach of middle-class people.

To conclude, even though studying in developed countries is a good option to excel in a futuristic career for those who want to pursue the full-term course which is unavailable in the homeland otherwise native land is the only place where one gets the home, study, money, native culture altogether.
