Question 1. Who gave you your name?

Answer 1:-  My mum’s friend named me when I was born.

Answer 2:- Well, my parents gave it to me. They visited a Sikh shrine, consulted with a priest and took the first letter from the holy book.

Question 2. Does your name have any particular (or special) meaning?

Answer 1:- Yes, my name has a specific meaning. I never knew the meaning of my name until recently, when I got to know the biblical meaning of Ezekiel as a watchman.

Answer 1:- Yes, I absolutely love my name as it gives me to have a unique identity of myself.

Answer 2:- Yes, I like my name because it has a beautiful meaning that I mentioned above and was given to me by my parents. It is not too old because in the modern era people like to have such kinds of names for them.

Question 4. In your country, do people feel that their names are significant?

Answer 1:- Yes, the majority of the public in my country attaches great importance to their name.

Answer 2:- Yes, in my country people feel that their names are very important because people are recognised by their name, and it is an identity of a person. To shine in society, they do a lot of hard work to get success.

Question 5. Would you like to change your name?

Answer 1:- No, I wouldn’t change my name for any reason as it’s dear to my heart, and that is what people know me for.

Answer 2:- Well, I would not like to change my name because it is very dear to me and it was given to me by my parents.

Question 6. Is it easy to change your name in your country?

Answer 1:- Yeah, it is difficult to change a name in my country as the individual has to undergo some legal procedures and pay a charge for their names to be changed.

Answer 2:- Well, different societies have different kinds of perceptions. Sikh communities do not believe in changing their name, but in Hinduism, it often happens when girls change their name after marriage.

Question 7. Who usually names babies in your country?

Answer 1:- In my country, the parents who gave birth to the child have the sole responsibility to name the child.

Answer 2:- Well, parents give a name to their baby by Consulting with the priest as well as they also take the help of the internet to give a name to their child.

Question 8. Do you have any unique traditions about naming children?

Answer 1:- yes, in my country, to name a child, you must undergo what we usually call a naming ceremony in which both families of the baby come together to name the child.

Answer 2:- Yes, there is a traditional ceremony that I already mentioned that when a baby is born at that time parents start deciding their name, so they go to the respective places like a temple or Sikh shrine and take the first letter from it.

Question 9. What names are the most common in your hometown?

Answer 1:- There are a lot of familiar names in my hometown. Some of these names are Kofi, Yaw, Adwoa, and Efua.

Answer 2:- People like to keep their child’s name as famous persons have, and they also see the zodiac sign and then keep it.

Question 10. Is your name common or unusual in your country?

Answer 1:- No, my name is uncommon in my country as most people give different names to their children.

Question 11. Does your name have any special meaning?

Answer 1:- Yes, my name has a special meaning: “a watchman”, according to the bible.

Answer 2:- Well, my name is very common because people love to keep such type of name for their child or for their loved ones.
