Recent Research Suggests That the Majority of Criminals Who Are Sent to Prison

Recent research suggests that the majority of criminals who are sent to prison commit crime after they are released. Why is this the case? What can be done to solve this problem?

Owing to the corrupted system and prejudiced behavior of society, most ex-prisoners commit crime after release suggested by researchers. However, some remedial actions can be taken to address this problem.

The most likely cause of this situation is corruption. This is because most jail authorities and political leaders break down their rules and regulations when bribes are offered by offenders, they are released with neither corporal punishments nor higher penalties imposed on them. were they to be released from jail in a simpler way, it would make them fearless which encourages them to commit crime again as they could be released easily. This would also be attributed to societal behavior of discrimination. Most people do not accept ex-offenders even if they end up their lives or careers in a legal way. Thus, social chaos pushes them into committing illegal activities.

The most obvious solution to this problem is strict actions toward corrupted faces. Higher authorities should come up with an honest system ruled over the country and take stringent stance against corruption. Thus, this step could combat this grave issue. Another effective measure is in the form of awareness. Both government and individuals ought to be aware public by private and government awareness programs through advertisements on TV and the internet or by organizing campaigns on a large scale. Also, the government should give job opportunities and loans to establish their business or work. Given all this, it would become highly desirable to curb the re-committing of crime.

In conclusion, corruption and discrimination appear to be at the root of this problem. However, there are some workable solutions in the form of strict actions, awareness, and work opportunities.
