Some people believe that students should acquire working experience during their gap year instead of travelling. Do you agree or disagree with this statement?
It has been argued by a handful of masses that the vacant time before enrolling oneself for territory education helps any learners to obtain work experience in order to make themselves financially sound and more responsible than travelling to and fro. I agree with the statement and will write my perspective in the upcoming paragraph.
First off, doing a job in the leisure time before taking a step in a university helps any pupil to become a veteran in their respective job. That experience will be helpful in getting a promotion in their later period of life when they will be employed in any organization. Secondly, they will be able to earn bread and butter, and they can bear the expenses such as paying University fees arranging trips and, to name but a few. Last but not least, students will develop essential traits that are needed in any employee. In other words, punctuality, making oneself tidy responsible for their duties. When they do a job, they will reach on time and say no to procrastination. Thus, they will become a productive member of any company, and these qualities are also helpful in their personal life.
On the other hand, if young minds make a plan to travel a lot in their free time, then they will have a need for money. They will ask for money from their parents and indirectly put an additional burden on their pocket. This thing, they can do even when they will be employed. They can make trips at weekends or monthly. Time-off is mostly taken by the personnel. So, at that time, they can make their itinerary. Commuting is conducive for them to meet new people and update themselves with varied cultures and traditions; however, it is also possible when they are promoted and attend conferences.
To conclude, I think getting experience in vacant time is crucial for the students than making an itinerary to different places. It will help them in becoming independent, responsible and punctual. They will not become extravagant and can enjoy better in their employment years.
