Nowadays, technology has made it very easy for people to find their old friends through Whatsapp, Instagram, and Facebook. There are many more places like leisure parks and shopping malls where people accidentally meet their old buddies. So similarly happened with me when I visited with my husband to Elante mall for the purpose of shopping to attend the wedding and suddenly I met my childhood friend. If I talk about her taste, then I must say we had similar tastes. It was a surprise for me when after shopping, my husband and I decided to take lunch and were standing in a queue to take lunch.
Suddenly, I heard someone was calling me by my name and as I turned my face. I was astonished to see one of my old childhood friends after many years. Tears came out of my eyes because it was like a dream. As such, we had no meeting with each other after passing graduation. So it was a very happy moment for me and my friend. She told me that she had visited my old house, but she couldn’t find me there, and the reason was that I moved to a new location.
So I didn’t have contact with my old friend to tell her about it. So that moment made me reminds of my memories, and we were both happy in each others company; then, it was our time to go because we were in a hurry and had a few days left to move to Canada. So we decided to meet in a nearby cafe, where we had a lot of meetings in the past and a lot of fun there. So that was the time when I met my old friend.

Well, social media has a great influence on friendship. Now people have access to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, and with the help of these apps, they can do chat, make video calls. Yes, friendship influences me in my personal life because whenever I have any problem, then my friends are ready to solve that one. Moreover, I feel happier in the company of my friends.

People have a hectic schedule, so they can use social apps to reconnect with their old friends as well as to stay in connection with their current friends; but, I think the best way to have a long-lasting friendship is to meet them personally. If it is not possible once a week, then they must organise any kind of program outside or inside their home at least once a month. So in this way, personal meetings always make them unite.
