I love to speak English not only at my workplace but also at the time of informal meetings. Here I would like to speak about the time when I spoke for the first time foreign language. Actually one of my friends had invited me to a wedding, and I was as happy as larry to visit Chandigarh, where it was organised. When I was enjoying the marriage ceremonies, suddenly I felt the need to lock my car.

So I went to the parking area and abruptly came across a person asking the way to Chandigarh bus station. Unfortunately, people were unable to understand what he wanted to say. I thought it was due to the person’s accent as well as he was asking from a rickshaw puller. I approached him and started to tell him the way. He looked tired, so I offered him a cup of coffee.

Then, I went with him to a coffee shop which was near to the place where I was attending the marriage. I conversed with him fluently and felt a sense of confidence. We exchanged our contact numbers. So that was the time I spoke in a foreign language.
