Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to let you know that I found misleading information in yesterday’s newspaper about the life of Mr. Vinay, who is a reputed personality in my locality.
Let me explain that Mr. Vinay is a generous person and a great Philanthropist. He has helped the poor many times. He is running an NGO and I also worked with him. But, I was amazed to read about his personal life in a distorted way. It was written that he had deserted his wife along with two children. In reality, He is leading a prosperous life with his family.
It is inhuman to write something bad about someone. I would like to tell you that it will leave a bad impression on the minds of the people who consider him their role-model. Mr. Vinay will have to suffer both mentally and socially.
Would you be kind enough to rewrite about his personal life in a lucid way to keep in mind the true feelings of people for him. Because people believe what they see or read.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours Faithfully,
Gurvinder Singh
Dear Sir,
I am writing in connection to the news item published by your newspaper on 17th july. I read an article which included wrong information about Mr Amarjeet Saini. It was mentioned under the headline ‘Education facilitator’ on page no 8.
The news story included the potential efforts made by Mr Amarjeet Saini, patron of Saint Carmel School Rupnagar, Punjab who is moving heaven to earth to spread education even at remote areas. It said that he established 2 branches in the city. As I am teacher in his main branch, to my awareness, he has established 12 schools all over Punjab, where education is easily reaching to the needy people. It seems the information is misprinted by the concerned printing press.
I want your urgent concern on this matter. Otherwise, it would mislead the public. I request you to work out with the repeated edition of this news item and publish it again, so that it must help people in getting the right information. This will also help you to win the faith of your readers.
Hoping for your immediate action.
Yours faithfully,
Sukhvinder
