Sample 1  Describe a Place Where There Was a Lot of Noise

In this materialistic era, noise pollution has been a controversial topic in the last few years in India. The most basic reasons for that are the horns of vehicles, the sound of machines in industries, and loudspeakers used by local people. Whether we like it or not, we have to tolerate it.

I am going to talk about the situation when there was too much noise. Actually, last Sunday, my neighbour held an Indian religious function which we call Jagrata.

In such functions, people sing religious songs praising Gods and Goddesses the whole night. The function started at 8 PM and went up to 5 AM. There is a law against using loudspeakers after 10 PM, but people don’t abide by the law in the name of religion. They do not realize that some people might be suffering from excessive noise.

I was not able to sleep the whole night. I closed all windows of my house to reduce that sound, but it did not make any difference. Then I put earplugs in my ears, but that, too, did not work. There might have been many other people who suffered like I did that night. I am not against any religious event, but I’m definitely against using loudspeakers after 10 PM.

Such laws should be implemented more strictly, and I believe the use of pressure horns must also be restricted. Noise pollution has a negative effect on our mental health as well as physical health. It can lead to hearing impairment, Fatigue, Heart problems, Insomnia, Anxiety, Depression, and so on. It can also reduce work efficiency. I hope we all realize the menace of noise pollution and do our bit to reduce it from our lives.

Sample 2 Describe a Place Where There Was a Lot of Noise

Well, noise pollution is also becoming the most prominent problem in my nation and in other countries besides water, land, and air pollution. And today, I am going to talk about a time. When I noticed noise pollution in my locality, it happened in the park which is in front of my home and on that day it was a cricket match between India and Pakistan. It was about a few months ago, and I was watching that cricket match with my family.

Suddenly I noticed some noise, and I visited that place. I just came to know that some people were dancing in the park on the Dj, and they were also firing the crackers. They were celebrating that India had won the match.

It was an extremely crucial match, even for India. Lost the match, but suddenly, one of the best players on the Indian cricket team played well, and he scored approximately 15 to 16 scores just in a single over, only on six balls. It was also a historical match even. I enjoyed it with those people and danced for 15 to 20 minutes, but after that, I advised everyone that we enjoyed it a lot.

And we should go home. And at that time, I realized that it is not necessary all the time to do noise pollution, but some people also do it just to enjoy their happy movements, and this time should be limited because people should not disturb others.
