Being a philanthropist, I’d always been really into extending my helping hands to others because it gives me a golden opportunity to nurture the bond of love and affection between the needy and me. This explains why there are innumerable instances in my life when I helped several individuals.
Today I’d like to talk regarding one such instance when I assisted my younger brother.
He is a brilliant student who has always qualified every grade with flying colors.
Actually, he is a science student and he often has to submit numerous science projects and assignments.
About 4 months ago, he participated in a science exhibition and for that, he had to make a working model on science. His teacher assigned him the project of rainwater harvesting and he had to make this model in just one day.
Despite being an astute learner, he abhors arts and model making unlike me.
Therefore he approached me and requested me to make his model. To be honest, although I’d a crucial assignment to submit on the following day instead of thinking about myself I agreed to assist him.
He bought me the paraphernalia for that model such as glue, paper, scissors, and so on and I started making that project.
Even though it was rocket science for me to understand the basic concepts of rainwater harvesting, my brother helped me during the process and learned how to make it. As it took 5 hours to complete it, I’d to stay awake until midnight to complete my assignment.
On the next day, my brother submitted his project before the deadline and won first prize.
Not only was he on the cloud nine but he was also bouncing off the walls.
After returning from school he ran to my room and hugged me tightly. My mind was blown by seeing a trophy and a medal with him.
After that, in order to paint the town red, we went to a renowned restaurant where we relished several scrumptious cuisines and celebrated my brother’s achievement.
So this was all about a time when a family member was helped by me.
