Sample Answer

I am a polyglot person who knows English, Hindi, and Punjabi. There was a time when I was pursuing my graduation, and in our final term, it was mandatory to take one international language either from Spanish, Russian or French.  So, at that period randomly I choose to add the French language in my curriculum where me and my friend I both enrolled ourselves for French-language randomly.  Although, the complete session was very tough for me, however, our tutors were really submissive to get us to overcome easily in our hurdles.

After my session ended I never thought that I will ever use this language, but here I would like to share an incident that happened to me about a year ago where this language was really helpful. I was in Agra at my uncle’s place for my vacations and we all know that it’s a highly rated tourist spot for foreigners because of The Taj Mahal, I remember one day when I was walking in the local street for some shopping with my cousin and there I realized a foreigner who was in the laborious situation because of language transformation as he was unable to make the shopkeeper understand what he was looking for.

I found that he is speaking in the French language so, I started communicating with him and then he told me that he doesn’t know any other language other than French and asked me to help him as he was looking to purchase some local Indian stuff for his family members. Then he conveyed to me easily what he wants in his native language and I converted all the same in our local language to make the shopkeeper understand, and that’s how his shopping done without any difficulty.

Moreover, at the end of the day after helping him with his all shopping and before leaving he thanked me for helping him selflessly and as a token of our new friendship he presented a souvenir of the Taj Mahal and from that moment we both become good friends and till the date we are in good touch. On that day I found self-satisfaction for helping someone with my knowledge.
