The diagrams below illustrate early tools from 1.4 million years ago and 800,000 years ago. Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features and making comparisons where relevant.
The yielded two pictures compare two ancient area tool designs, and one is 1.4 million years ago whereas the second is 0.8 million years ago.
Overall, it can be clearly seen that improvement in tool year by year despite the length, which remained the same.
1.4 million years ago, if we look at the front view, it was made from big rocks, and the shape was roughly square. Inside view, width in the middle was on peak, towards the top and bottom side its decline. Moreover, on the backside, the half to bottom proportion was square and made from one rock, while the top was the same as the temple. The length was 5 cm.
0.8 million years ago, the design of tools improved with humankind progression. If we look at the front view, it exactly looks like a water drop and concreted small rocks. There was no big difference in the side view, although curves were sharper with top and bottom sharp edges. Changes seen in the backside, sharpness of top was reduced and increasing in width.
