Question 1:- What kind of TV programs do you like?
Answer 1:- I do not watch a lot of television. However, I do like some fictional shows based on politics, like the Designated Survivor. It is quite engaging and gives you a sense of power.
Answer 2:- Well, I watch many kinds of television programs, but I prefer watching adventure programs to other types of programs
Question 2:- What’s your favourite TV program?
Answer 1:- Oh, there have been many, but my current favourite is a show called Shark Tank, wherein an entrepreneur pitches its business ideas looking for investment from industry tycoons.
Answer 2:- National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) is a competitive program I cherish. It’s very crazy to see brilliant students from various schools all over the country in a quiz competition. I can’t wait for this year’s edition.
Question 3:- Do you often watch programs on TV or your cell phone?
Answer 1:- Because I come quite late from work, I do not have the energy to sit and watch TV. So I prefer relaxing on my couch and watching some interesting shows on my cellphone.
Answer 2:- Sure, I can’t afford to miss that program when it starts. I watch from the lower stage to the supper competitive final step to see the winning school. I use my mobile devices to watch them on social media even when I’m not in the house.
Question 4:- Do you like watching the same kind of program all the time?
Answer 1:- No. I think I would get bored with the same content throughout. I love to watch different kinds of fictional shows, which also help me gain a bit of knowledge, be it politics or business and maybe even how kings fought war.
Answer 2:- Obviously! I can’t set an arm for that program and watch wherever I am. In fact, I can’t stop whatever I’m doing for this program when it is time.
Question 5:- Do you talk with your friends about the program you watched?
Answer 1:- Haha, all the time. Whenever we finish watching an episode, we often text each other about how this or that character just changed the game. We also sometimes play a friendly bet about what’s gonna happen next or who might be the king.
Answer 2:- Interestingly, most of my friends enjoy watching this program; however, it can turn into an argument till the sunset.
Question 6:- In your country is it possible to watch any TV programs in English?
Answer 1:- Yes, it definitely is possible. However, the channels and shows that come on TV are quite limited. Hence people prefer to binge on media platforms like Netflix or Amazon.
Answer 2:- Not really; I think the local languages are dominant here, and most of the aged do not understand the English language; however, it proves impossible to watch any program in English.
Question 7:- What benefits can people get from watching foreign TV programs?
Answer 1:- I think when you watch a foreign show, you learn the heritage, culture and most importantly their language and mannerism. It helps you understand how the other side of the world behaves without actually visiting the place.
Answer 2:- A lot is gained from watching foreign movies because it gives more insight into the way of life of the other world.
