sample answer:

Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my concern about my misplaced baggage during my travel with your Singapore airlines last week on 24th July.

To furnish you with further details, I am a regular globetrotter and enjoy flying with your airlines, as it provides the quality for the price paid, however, last time experience was a nightmare. My scheduled itinerary was from Singapore to Hongkong on 24th July which, included a check-in suitcase along with a handbag.

Upon arrival in Hongkong airport, I realized that my check-in luggage has been missing. I reported the same to the baggage department. Consequently, they recorded my complaint and assured me I will be handed over my bag in two-three working days, as it might be some technical issue.

To provide some description of my luggage, It’s a brown-colored four-wheeled trolley that has a red ribbon as well as my initials DC written on the right end corner. The contents of the suitcase include my designer clothes, as I am here in Hongkong to attend a reception. Also a few ornaments along with basic needs.

I Would be grateful If you could provide me the current status of my lost luggage. Furthermore, a week passed, and to date, I have not received any positive news. Hence it would be appreciated to act accordingly or present the other alternative to my lost property.
